ABOUT JAZZ FEST GLEN ELLYN
This year's JFGE, our fifth annual, will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2011 from 3 to 10 p.m. Gates open at 2 p.m.
Jazz Fest Glen Ellyn was created to present a unique and entertaining musical event for its participants. Jazz Fest Glen Ellyn, the ultimate outdoor jazz experience in a downtown festival setting, features top-class Chicago jazz musicians, the Hursthouse "Jazz Garden", and a gourmet menu with beer and wine.
ADMISSION
Jazz Fest Glen Ellyn is a free event! That being said, and there is no pressure to do so, but... we hope you will make a voluntary contribution to help with the many costs that a festival of this magnitude must incur.
ALCOHOL
Beer and Wine is available for purchase. Alcohol will not be allowed to be brought into the festival. Likewise, alcohol is not allowed to be taken outside the festival boundries.
SCHEDULE
3:00 Two for Brazil - Paulinho Garcia and Greg Fishman

PRESENTERS
Jazz Fest Glen Ellyn is presented by a partnership of four organizations - 90.9fm WDCB Listener-Supported Public Radio, the McAninch Arts Center (MAC) at College of DuPage, White Space Design, and the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce.

AFTER-FEST
Part of the appeal - and intent - of Jazz Fest Glen Ellyn is to foster a "hub" of jazz activity around the festival. This includes participating restaurants presenting jazz in their own establishments after the Jazz Fest Glen Ellyn has concluded at 10 p.m. In future years, it is expected that we will add and support additional events before and after the "Main Street" festival.
