3:00 MULLIGAN MOSAICS BIG BAND
The Mulligan Mosaics Big Band, established in 2006, is a 13-piece jazz orchestra founded and led by Ted Hogarth. The mission of the band is to preserve and perform the music of the late saxophonist and arranger, Gerry Mulligan. Since the band first performed at Morseland on Chicago' north side, it has gone on to perform at FitzGerald's in Berwyn and at Millennium Park in Chicago.

4:30 HENRY JOHNSON TRIO with VOCALIST TAMMY McCANN
Chicago-born guitarist Henry Johnson started playing with Ramsey Lewis in 1979, and by 1985 jazz legend Joe Williams added Johnson to his group. Johnson's musical roots run deep into gospel, blues and jazz. His strongest and earliest influences were Kenny Burrell, George Benson and Wes Montgomery. The Henry Johnson Trio will be joined by guest jazz vocalist Tammy McCann, who has sung with Ramsey Lewis, Von Freeman, Ray Charles and many others.

6:00 WILLIE PICKENS TRIO
The Willie Pickens Trio features the South Side jazz pianist, who began his career on the national hit record, Eddie Harris' "Exodus" in 1961, and who has since performed with James Moody, Roy Eldridge and Max Roach. He has accompanied hundreds of soloists and made many appearances at the Chicago Jazz Festival.

7:30 CHEVERE featuring ALEJO POVEDA and HOWARD LEVY
Chevere, Chicago's leading Latin/jazz/funk/blues band, mixes Afro-Cuban and Brazilian jazz with blues and funk to create an exciting collage of sound. Leading Chevere are percussionist Alejo Poveda, who founded the ensemble in 1977, and Howard Levy, a Grammy Award winning pianist and harmonica player.
